About me

My name is Chika H. Orji. I am the founder of Syntax and Script – a technology media company dedicated to helping people make sense of the changing digital world. I explore emerging technologies and artificial intelligence, examining how they reshape the way we live and work, while providing practical resources for people looking to transition into careers in technology.

I worked in fashion before making the leap into tech. Throughout my fashion career, I felt pulled toward technology and innovation, probably because of my science background and the thrill of something new always happening. When I was ready for a career change, tech was a no-brainer.

In spite of the obvious advantages of working in tech, it took me a while to make the switch. Finding a career path that fit my skill set and interests was a jumble. I was still confused till the moment I earned my first certification.

Through this blog, I hope to share experiences and insights to help others navigate the exciting world of technology. From learning about new innovations to attending tech conferences, I’ll be sharing everything. I hope that my posts will inspire others considering a career transition, especially those interested in tech from non-technical backgrounds.
