In cases where they’ve figured this out, there’s the plethora of resources to consume before deciding whether to join a bootcamp, pay for a nanodegree or wing it with free online resources.

I have benefitted immensely from being a member of tech communities like Women in Cloud and She Code Africa. Just last week, I attended a community connect event in Accra, hosted by She Code Africa. Being in that event made me realize that I am not alone in my struggles, and I can always reach out for help and get it. It reminded me that there is so much I have to offer. It was an amazing experience and I am already looking forward to the next meetup!
